Accesso Partners has hired Brad Barefoot as chief financial officer.

Barefoot joined the Hallandale Beach, Fla., investment manager from Goldman Sachs, where he was vice president of finance for the company’s $1.5 trillion asset management division. He has also worked at Ressourcement Inc., a Perrysburg, Ohio, financial adviser, and accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.

At Accesso, Barefoot will report to Claudio Dombey, one of the firm’s founders and managing partners. The company, which was founded in 2003 as Beacon Investment Properties, owns 40 office properties with 15 million square feet.

Meanwhile, Accesso has promoted Paul Gaines to managing director of asset management and Abbey Rowsey to director of asset management and special projects. Gaines, who joined the company in 2012 and had been managing director of capital markets debt for the past two years, will oversee the firm’s asset management group and its investment strategy. Rowsey, who joined Accesso five years ago, will serve as asset manager for the company’s properties in Dallas and Houston and work with property managers and finance teams throughout the country.
