Accesso Signs More Than 108,000 Square Feet of New Leases at Ashford in 2022


Denver College of Nursing is latest tenant to establish a presence at one of Houston’s flagship office parks

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – October 17, 2022 – Accesso (the “Company”), a fully integrated investment manager and operator of multi-tenant office and multifamily assets, is pleased to announce that it has signed more than 108,000 square feet of new leases in 2022 at Ashford in Houston. Recently, the Company executed a 12-year lease agreement with Denver College of Nursing (“DCN”), a private institution focused on providing educational programs and training for nursing professionals, to occupy approximately 29,840 square feet of space on the third floor of the property beginning this December.

DCN joins Houston Research Institute, Houston Medical Imaging and Smith Seckman Reid as the latest organizations to call Ashford home, reflecting the significant appeal of the Class A, ENERGY STAR-certified office complex. What’s more, Ashford is situated within Houston’s Energy Corridor, which is a coveted location amongst global, national and local businesses given all that it has to offer – trails and parks, restaurants, nightlife, residential offerings and public transportation.

DCN is part of a network of schools managed by Education Affiliates, Inc., one of the largest nursing education providers in the U.S. Robert LaCoure, Jill Nesloney, Chris Lewis and Bryce Adams of Lee & Associates – Houston brokered the lease behalf of Accesso, while Darren Shibuya and Anya Marmuscak of JLL represented DCN.

Ashford is a 570,052-square-foot office park in the heart of Houston’s Energy Corridor with multiple points of ingress and egress. The property features a new state-of-the-art fitness center with showers, conference center with kitchen and reception and a newly refreshed lobby with high-end finishes and seating areas.
