Hallandale Beach-based investment manager and operator of multi-tenant office buildings Accesso has tapped veteran real estate and investment executive John Rivard as Chief Investment Officer.

In his new role, Rivard will be responsible for spearheading the firm’s investment process and overseeing its capital markets activities. He will report directly to Managing Partner of Investments Ariel Bentata. Over the course of his career, Rivard has acquired $25 billion in assets and has raised in excess of $3.5 billion in equity and $6.5 billion in debt. Prior to joining Accesso, Rivard worked as Managing Director at Brightstone Capital Partners

“Accesso is a company I have always had great respect for given the high integrity of the founding partners and its strong reputation within the office and investment communities,” said Rivard. “I see tremendous value and opportunity in the company’s strategy of targeting non-gateway markets and am delighted to be able to utilize my background and skills to continue to foster the organization’s growth.”
