Brittany Thorsen received ConnectCRE Next Generation Award

By Amy Wolff Sorter

In her role as Property Manager with Accesso, Brittany Thorsen oversees Platinum Tower, a 312,000-square-foot, Class A tower in Atlanta. She is also responsible for management of multiple industrial flex properties.

Her job includes managing a team of diverse employees that include building engineers, an assistant property manager, a janitorial team and a 24/7 building security team. She balances this with monthly accounting responsibilities, hosting tenant events, working with brokers on new leasing deals and liaising directly with Accesso’s asset management team, some of whom work directly out of Platinum Tower.

Her fast promotion to her current job at such a young age results from the incredibly high standards to which she holds herself. She credits her fast success to being able to take the leap of faith from a real estate services provider to a property owner and investor in Accesso. This enabled her to efficiently learn the ins and outs of what makes a property management professional excel in the industry.

In the near future, Thorsen hopes to take on more responsibility to manage a larger portfolio, as well as continuing to mentor and support younger professionals, especially women, in the commercial real estate industry. She also donates her time to mental health advocacy organization Hillside and hopes to become involved with more charitable endeavors in the future.

These are just a few reasons we chose Brittany Thorsen as one of Connect CRE’s Atlanta & Southeast 2023 Next Generation Award winners. Connect Media’s seventh annual Next Generation Awards recognize young leaders who will have a strong influence on the commercial real estate industry.
