Major changes are planned for Charlotte’s 1.8 million-square-foot Innovation Park, located on IBM Drive in University Research Park, after it was sold for $270 million to Florida commercial real estate firm Accesso Partners and Partners Group, a Swiss investment-management company. Changes to the former IBM campus include more than 1,000 residential units, a hotel, tens of thousands of square feet of retail space and hundreds of thousands of square feet of new office space.
