Hartman Simons & Wood LLP has signed a 17,000-SF lease at Accesso’s Platinum Tower, a 17-story office tower in Atlanta’s Cumberland submarket. The full-service law firm plans to move from its current headquarters at 6400 Powers Ferry Road, just across the Chattahoochee River, in December.

Property details: Accesso bought the 312,591-SF tower for $48 million in 2013. This deal brings the building to 78% leased. Asking rents are $28 per SF, Bisnow noted.

Worth Noting:  The property benefits from its proximity to local amenities such as the Cumberland Galleria, Truist Park, and the Chattahoochee nature trails. It’s situated at the juncture of I-75 and I-285, close to the affluent and vibrant neighborhoods of Buckhead and East Cobb.

Brokers: Chris Port, Kyle Kenyon, and Erwin Port of CBRE represented Accesso, while NAI Brannen Goddard’s Jim Devaney and Collin Devaney represented Hartman Simons.

Heard on the Street: Accesso’s Paul Einum: “As a full service law firm focused on the commercial real estate industry, Hartman Simons recognizes the high quality and accessibility Platinum Tower provides.” [PR+BisNow]
