American Honda Finance already has 600 workers in Las Colinas.

American Honda Finance Corp. is growing its office footprint in Irving by almost a quarter.

The automotive finance operation is expanding its offices to 100,000 square feet in the Royal Ridge office campus in Las Colinas.

American Honda Finance has had the Irving office since 2000 where it employs 600 workers.

“Honda is one of the world’s most prestigious brands and a global leader in innovation, and we are thrilled that it will continue to have a flagship presence in Irving over the long term,” said Abbey Rowsey with building owner Accesso. “Royal Ridge possesses the important components leading multinational corporations seek in an office complex, including close proximity to an international airport, modern design elements and collaborative space layouts.”

Royal Ridge has a half million square feet of office space on Belt Line Road north of State Highway 114.

Retailer Michaels moved its headquarters to 124,000 square feet in the property last year.

John Brownlee and Michael Williams of JLL negotiated the new Honda lease with Timothy Vaughan with CBRE.
