Global private markets investment manager Partners Group and Accesso Partners acquired Innovation Park, a 1.8-million-square-foot office park in Charlotte. The sales price was reported as $270 million. The venture makes Partners Group, acting on behalf of its clients, the majority owner of the property while Accesso maintains a minority ownership interest.
Innovation Park is an office complex in the University City submarket of Charlotte. The 202-acre property is home to several high-credit tenants, including Allstate, AXA, Alight Solutions, Classic Graphics and Wells Fargo. The former IBM office campus is comprised of 12 buildings and is currently 99% leased.
Brian Dawson of JLL represented the seller, BECO Management, in the transaction. Ryan Clutter, Scot Humphrey, Chris Lingerfelt and Zack Drozda of JLL represented the buyers. Additionally, Susan Hill of JLL arranged acquisition financing for the buyers.
