Swiss private equity company Partners Group Holding AG and Florida-based Accesso Partners LLC purchased the Innovation Park in Charlotte, N.C., for $270 million from BECO South LLC, an affiliate of BECO Management Inc., the Charlotte Business Journal reported, citing Brian Rosen, chief investment officer at Accesso Partners.

The 12-building, 1.8 million-square-foot office park encompasses 202 acres. The property is 99% leased to tenants like Allstate, Wells Fargo and Alight Solutions, among others.

The park’s new majority owner Partners Group and minority partner Accesso plan to develop about 1,000 residences, a plaza, multifamily buildings, a boutique hotel and ground-level street retail as well as up to 1.5 million square feet of new office space.

Innovation Park’s development, construction and operations manager Marc Bellet joined Accesso as director of asset management and national director of development. He will continue to oversee the property.

The joint venture will soon file a rezoning petition for the property, the report added, citing Rosen
