Real estate roundup: Private equity firm renews lease at downtown trophy office tower

Accesso, a commercial real estate investment manager and operator based in Hallandale Beach, Fla., said it has leased about 60,000 square feet at two of its Houston properties. IHI Energy Solutions signed a 17,816-square-foot lease to relocate its headquarters to Atrium at Park Ten, at 16340 Park Ten Plaza in west Houston. Petrofac, an energy services company, signed a 16,023-square-foot expansion for a total of 25,761 square feet in Atrium at Park Ten. The deals bring the 140,000-square-foot building to 98 percent occupancy. Recent leases at 3900 Essex, a 236,000-square-foot building near Greenway Plaza, include a 10,502-square-foot renewal for Buffalo Bayou Resources, a 3,360-square-foot lease for telecommunications firm KDDI America, and a 4,334-square-foot lease for energy market analytics firm RBN Energy. The 12-story building has a renovated lobby and state-of-the-art fitness and conference centers.
