Temple University has signed a five-year lease on its existing space at 1515 Market St. in Center City, according to landlord Accesso Partners.

The school signed the deal on the space totaling 130,213 square feet on floors two through six, a portion of the ground level space, the plaza and the concourse. The university has been an anchor tenant in the building since 2001 when it opened what it refers to as Temple University Center City. In 2014, Temple renewed its lease to occupy the space through June 2022.

Accesso Partners bought 1515 Market, a 20-story, 502,000-square-foot office building, in 2014 for $85 million. Last year, the Hallandale Beach, Florida, real estate company expanded its Philadelphia presence when it acquired Westlakes, a 455,183-square-foot office park in Berwyn, for $135 million.

Josh Sloan of JLL represented Accesso in the Temple renewal.
